| The industrial-financial company ?Belpromwest? was formed in 1994 for stocking up scrap and rejects of non-ferrous, ferrous metal and processing it in cast alloys, rolled non-ferrous metal, finished articles and cable-wire products.
The company?s activity is being carried out on behalf of the government of Belarus, in compliance with which the company ?Belpromwest? was allowed to organize the processing of scrap and rejects of non-ferrous and ferrous metal into rolled metal at the metallurgical works of the countries of Commonwealth of Independent States and Europe for the needs of the enterprises in Belarus.
The company ?Belpromwest? is making the removal of low-grade scrap of non-ferrous metal that is not to be processed at the territory of the republic for processing it outside of Belarus. The company is communicating with the largest metallurgical enterprises of Russia, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Czechia and Slovakia.
To accomplish the orders of the government the company ?Belpromwest? developed the program of supplying the industrial enterprises of Belarus with non-ferrous rolled metal in 1996-2007 period that was approved by the Ministry of the Republic of Belarus. During this program the company created its own production plant in Brest for premetallurgical processing of metal materials that allowed to process more than 20 000 tons of metal scrap per year. There are about 200 staff members involved in the technological process at the moment.
With the purpose of the production of sorted cast alloys, foundry and rolling from aluminum rejects for the needs of the industrial enterprises of Belarus the industrial-financial group ?Belpromwest? formed ?Belpromwest-ITC? ltd in Molodechno. The technological process is based on the leading methods of science and uses the experience of the enterprises of Belarus and Russian Federation. In addition to processing of aluminum alloys there are facilities for processing foundry by chill casting. The company is leasing productive capacities for processing alloys by die casting.
The activity of the company was highly evaluated in year 1999 at the competition ?The best entrepreneur of Belarus?, when the company ?Belpromwest? became a winner.
The industrial-financial company ?Belpromwest? doesn?t stop on the achieved results. In year 2007 the company received proposals from some industrial enterprises to organize the processing of scrap and rejects of non-ferrous metal into rolled non-ferrous metal of a wider nomenclature (plates, belts, bars, sections, foil, etc.), production of the complete products from non-ferrous metal and start preparation for processing of stainless steel and cast iron scrap. Taking into account the cumulative experience, created infrastructure, financial potential and needs of the enterprises the company ?Belpromwest? developed the program for processing scrap and rejects of non-ferrous and ferrous metal into rolled metal, sorted cast alloys and complete products in years 2007-2008. The Council of Ministers of Belarus supported the program.
The company?s plans:
- To increase the delivery of products in Belarus thanks to processing of scrap and rejects of non-ferrous metal of various nomenclature up to 10 tons per year;
- The extension of operational productive capacities for premetallurgical metal working up to 40 000 tons per year and sorted aluminum ingots output up to 3000 tons per year;
- The organization of production of copper ingots and alloys;

- The organization of production of non-ferrous metal and cast-iron articles;

The industrial-financial company ?Belpromwest? is working out the program of supplying to Belarus individual categories of non-ferrous rolled metal that are not produced by the metallurgical works in Belarus, in particular: stainless, electric steel and other products.
In 2007 ?Belpromwest? established the industrial group ?Belpromwest?. It includes 7 separate enterprises, 6 representations and affiliates, located in different regions of Belarus, Russian Federation and Lithuania.
The main directions of the business activities of the industrial group ?Belpromwest? are the following:
- Stocking up and processing scrap and rejects of non-ferrous and ferrous metal in cast alloys, metal rolling, cable-wire products and other finished articles.
- The sale on the territory of Belarus of non-ferrous and ferrous metal, cable-wire and other products that are not produced in Belarus.
